Our Complaints Policy
We are committed to providing a high quality legal service to all of our clients. When something goes wrong we need you to tell us about it. This will help to improve our standards.
If you are unhappy about the service we have provided, then in the first instance please contact the person who is dealing with your case to discuss your concerns and we will do our best to resolve any issues at this stage.
If the fee earner who has dealt with your case cannot resolve the matter, then please raise your concerns, in writing, with Ruth Harbottle who is the Principal of this Firm. She will provide you with our complaints procedure and will deal with your complaint with you.
If you still feel that your complaint has not been satisfactorily resolved, then you can ask the Legal Ombudsman to consider your complaint. The Legal Ombudsman can be contacted at: enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk
Amy application to the Legal Ombudsman should be made within six months of your last contact with this Firm.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority can assist you if you are concerned about our behaviour. This could include, for example, treating you unfairly due to age or disability, mishandling of your money, dishonesty. Of course we strive to avoid any of these issues. If you have any such concerns, then you can raise them with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
